People are Lazy- Make contacting your business via website effortless.
When re-dong a website for one of our clients, we noticed they did not have an easy way for customers to reach out via their web landing page. During the re-build, we made a clear value prop and contact form that went straight to the customers sales mailbox, and put it in clear site on the page. Fast forward to a short time later, 9 potential customer sites had come in through the website contact form.
You need to make sure that potential customers know how to get in contact with you, Whether its ensuring that your address and phone number are clearly displayed, or creating a contact form that goes right to your sales inbox. Think of all the times you’ve gone to a restaurant website and could’t just dial the number easily, or easily pull up google maps. Its extremely frustrating! Thats why we need to make everything front and center.
Build your site with mobile and other screen sizes in mind.
Most people will be browsing your site on a mobile device, so making your phone number and address easy to open on mobile is crucial. Customer should be able to see and click on your phone number and address within a split second from their mobile device. Customer should be dialing your phone number within a click. Or, pulling up your address in Google Maps within a touch of a link. Most people are looking you up to find or call you on their mobile device.
